Saturn Planetary Ornament - great on a tree or form your ceiling

Old World Christmas $27.95

Saturn, the planet, is named after the Roman god of agriculture, harvest, time and wealth.  The Romans celebrate Saturn on December 25th, a festival harvest called Saturnalia.

This design was introduced in 2015.  Each glass Saturn ornament is hand crafted using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's.  Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds available only to the Merck Family's Old World Christmas line, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creations.
