Charoite

Charoite stone looks pretty somber in its natural state and that is probably why it wasn't discovered until the 1940's when a railway was constructed in the Kodar Mountains.  That is the only place known for Charoite formations.  Once polished, it has a deep, intense purple color.

Charoite meaning: Charoite is named after the Chara River which flows from a lake in the Kodars.

Charoite metaphysical properties:

Charoite is associated with clairaudience and the ability to hear one's guides and angels speak.  Wear it or hold it when you are at a crossroads and need wisdom in making the right choice.
